Mark and I headed south for some R & R and heat relief this past weekend. The only way to beat the heat down here is to wear less clothes and stay on or in the water.
The forecast has called for daily thunderstorms and showers, none of which materialized until last yesterday afternoon. And boy, did we get a storm. This is a picture of the storm as it came at us from over the wildlife preserve.
And if you have ever wondered what the picture beside the word "black" would look like, here it is. You won't see much but this was the sky at least a half hour before sunset. Those are rooftops in the distance.
